Time to Burn
19 September - 31 October 2026 | Holmes a Court Gallery no. 10 West Perth WA

4 April - 27 June 2026 | Vasse Felix Gallery, Margaret River WA

Time to Burn is an exhibition that invites audiences to critically engage with contemporary forest management practices, with a particular focus on aerial prescribed burning in Western Australia’s Great Southern and South West regions. Through artistic and community perspectives, the exhibition examines the environmental, cultural, and ecological implications of these practices.

The exhibition seeks to inspire a constructive shift in fire management approaches, raising awareness of the irreversible damage being caused by current methods while encouraging informed dialogue and alternative thinking.

Time to Burn calls upon artists and communities alike to reflect on a vital question: how can we protect both our communities and the natural environment—before time runs out?
